Your game stays in your browser
The game does not require an account. Game progress, a backup before importing a save, sound preference and tutorial-dismissal preference are stored in your browser’s local storage. The game does not upload these saves to us or sync them between devices. Imported ledger files are read locally; exported files are saved to your device.
Storage supports the game and settings you use. It remains until overwritten, removed by your browser or cleared by you. To remove all game data, clear this website’s site data in your browser settings. Export a ledger first if you want to keep your progress. A new domain has separate storage: export from the old site and import on the new one.
Optional usage counts
Optional usage counts are off until you allow them. With your permission we send only a product code and action type, stored as daily totals for the current UTC day and 89 previous days. These are action counts, not unique visitors. No visitor ID, visited URL, file content or IP address is saved in these totals. We try to save your choice in this browser on this site; a page-only choice is shown if browser storage is unavailable. You can turn counts off at any time; earlier totals cannot be linked to you or removed individually. Browser privacy signals are respected. Our hosting and abuse-protection provider still receives connection data, including your IP address, separately.
Only your yes/no choice is stored under arcdrake.analytics.v1 on this origin. If storage is unavailable, it lasts only for the current feedback widget instance. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track overrides permission. Allowing counts does not replay already-handled actions. Contract dispatch counts as a play start; a successful return handled while permission is on counts as a completion, including a contract dispatched earlier or completed after offline progress. Reopen Privacy choices to withdraw permission. Counts do not establish unique people or a completion rate.
Voluntary feedback
Feedback policy updated 27 October 2026. Forwarding applies only to new submissions after this update takes effect; earlier feedback keeps its original 30-day expiry and is not automatically forwarded. Feedback is sent to Arcdrake only when you submit it: product, category, message and optional reply email. It is independent of usage counts. Arcdrake handles your message; a reply is not guaranteed. The website working copy is accessible for 30 days, then hidden and removed by hourly cleanup under normal operation; platform failures can delay physical deletion. Cloudflare’s database recovery history can retain earlier copies for up to 30 days after deletion. Feedback is also queued for forwarding through Microsoft 365 to Arcdrake’s contact mailbox. A saved receipt confirms website storage and queueing, not inbox delivery or a human response. Mailbox correspondence is deleted when no longer needed, subject to statutory retention obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Use the contact link with your receipt ID to request deletion. Hosting processes connection metadata separately; IP addresses are not stored with feedback. Please leave out sensitive information.
The same-origin /api/feedback route requires an available private service. When it is unavailable, receipt cannot be confirmed. A successful send shows a receipt. On an unconfirmed send your text stays in the form; a network failure can happen after storage succeeds. There is no automatic retry. Feedback is never saved in browser storage. The form supports problem reports, ideas, ease-of-use feedback and other comments.
Hosting and connection data
Serving and protecting the game involves processing technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, request time and browser information. Our basis is legitimate interests in delivering a reliable, secure game (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not operate a player-account database or add advertising trackers or third-party font requests in the game code. Optional counts and feedback are separate from your local game saves.
The Arcdrake Studios deployment uses Cloudflare. Technical data may be processed internationally under its applicable safeguards; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy and data processing terms. The legacy chatgpt.site deployment also uses OpenAI’s hosting platform; platform-level processing is described in OpenAI’s privacy policy. These hosting services may process operational or security data independently of the game’s local saves.
We retain personal data only for the relevant operational, security or correspondence purpose and any applicable legal obligations. Provider-controlled technical-log retention follows the provider’s service arrangements; we do not promise that all hosting logs are immediately deleted.
If you contact us
We process the address, message and any information you choose to send to answer your request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries or Article 6(1)(f) for other correspondence. Mail is handled through Microsoft 365. The separate company contact form is covered by the company website privacy notice. Do not send a saved ledger unless needed to investigate an issue; it may contain names you entered.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority. We cannot access or erase saves held only on your device; use your browser’s site-data controls.
